This week campers will level up their coding skills through fun, hands-on challenges that combine technology, problem-solving, and outdoor play! The STEAM campers will participate in a mBot Robotics Challenge called "Debug the Maze" where campers will program the mBot Robots to navigate a maze with obstacles. Campers will be introduced to concepts such as sequencing, loops and problem solving. Outdoors, campers will participate in activities such as If/Then Tag learning about conditional statements and practice being code breaking by creating pixel art on graph paper and then converting them into coordinate-based coding instructions for a partner to recreate. The week will culminate in the campers collaborating to create a DIY Rube Goldberg Machine.
