A Young Explorer is a preschooler 3 & 4 years of age.

Young Explorer camps provide campers with a day filled with hands on activities that are open ended to encourage their innate sense of curiosity and wonder.  Activities are a mix of leader initiated and child initiated.  Leaders will choose activities that lend themselves to exploration through play with plenty of time for unstructured play and physical activity. Exploring the outdoor environment will be the focus of the program with access to sand, dirt, water, grassy areas, rocks, forest, gardens and sand kitchen. Experiences will include art, science, literacy, physical movement, music, cooking and more with lots of opportunities to engage.
